BBC Radio Bristol
Photographer Dave Archer was brought on as an expert on BBC Bristol Radio in May 2021, being asked about the history of smiling. This led to the 2020 Vision Project being mentioned as an important historic visual document for years to come.
We are very pleased to share that eleven of our 2020 Vision Project photographers were featured in The Societies of Photographer's Magazine. The Professional Imagemaker's April-May Issue showcases healthcare workers portraits from all across the nation.
We were delighted to have 2 Marie Curie photos taken by Lisa Holmes that were exhibited in the 2020 Vision Project showcase, in the Bradford press.
Not only did Lisa make the paper but she was also interviewed by Sanchez Payne, BBC Radio Bradford.
2020 Vision Project founder and and photographer, Sophie Sheinwald was interviewed by Charlie Colville for the February issue of Mouthing Off Magazine. "When discussing some of the main focal points of the 2020 Vision Project, Sheinwald was clear on the fact that it was dependent on the collaboration between the written and visual story. The project itself was created to shine a spotlight on healthcare workers and their story, but this story would not be able to come into fruition without the support of the photographers involved."
Amanda Thomas photographed Midwife Maggie Myatt alongside Laura and Jo, as a tribute to healthcare workers for the 2020 Vision Project. She got each of them to float in the sea in Brighton, East Sussex and this was beautifully featured in Photo Plus's 174 February issue.
Journalist Helen Mulroy covered the project and on November 19th 2020 we had the broadcast with Bedford photographer Tara Gillen featured alongside midwife Caitlin Evans and Carer Bethany Bean, two healthcare workers whom she photographed. We also had founder Sophie Sheinwald telling the story of how the idea emerged.

On this Soho radio show, photos were very cleverly revealed live to the healthcare workers that 2020 Vision Project photographer Richard Ansett beautifully took.
It’s really worth a listen.
Just imagine you're a doctor working solidly helping homeless folk in Westminster during Lockdown and a photographer asks you to be part of a nationwide tribute... and then you’re on the radio - looking at the results of these photos for the first time. Very touching!
KCW magazine featured our showcase exhibition in their October 2020 issue. We had 100 selected portraits from our photographers in September at the Ethelburga's Centre for Peace and Reconciliation, Bishopsgate.
